When I have to make sugar flowers for a cake, I always make a few extra for a last minute cake order. Flowers are an easy way to add an elegant touch to any cake. Weeks ago I had to make some sugar flowers for one of these cakes and I made a few extra peonies "just in case".

...as always - this is BEAUTIFUL. I have a peony bush in my year that I have a love/hate relationship with. I wait all spring for the beautiful flowers to bloom and then when they do it always rains and then the thing droops and the flowers fall. This year, I was cutting off blooms in a thunderstorm so I could have some before they were ruined. I think I won this year ;)
Hola Kathia,
Están preciosas las flores que haces. Que pases un feliz día!
Stunning! I love the flowers on top and the colors really compliment one another. Thanks for sharing!

Your flowers look amazing! Did you know that Colette Peters is doing a work shop at Peters Valley Craft Center in Dingman's Falls, NJ this summer?! I'm going and I can't wait!!!
One of these days you really need to show a tutorial on how to make that Peony!
Stunning as always!
This color combination is beautiful. Flowers are always the hardest thing for me. I need to practice practice practice!!
