Experimenting With Gumpaste

Well here I go... I have never taken any gumpaste classes, everything that I have done so far using gumpaste I have learned from my books, but I am determined to learn . I had some gumpaste left over from my last cake project, so I decided to give it some use. Thinking that Valentine's is coming soon I made red hearts and painted them with a little luster dust. I am planning to use them with cupcakes, I think they will look adorable on top of a thick and rich chocolate ganache.



This is my working area , kind of messy.
