Pink and Teal Gift Box Cake

Happy Monday everyone! I have been busy getting ready for my first wedding cake and a few more cake orders that I have for next week. But I thought I would show you a few pics from a little cake I made over the weekend.The colors are inspired by my little girl's favorite shirt  and this fabulous gift tower.Mini tutorial coming soon.
Now girls...where do you get your inspiration from? I would love to know.

    Wow Kathia! That cake is AWESOME!

    Where do I get my inspiration? I look at cakes from books, magazines and the web, but I also get inspiration by looking at wrapping paper (like at Hallmark) or even from store windows and their advertising.

    Good luck on your first wedding cake! I know you'll do great!!
