Fondant Stamped Heart Cookies

This fondant stamped heart cookies were inspired by the talented Gail from One Though Cookie. She recently posted a tutorial in how to stamp a cookie using rubber stamps and color gels, a very neat technique that gave me the idea to make these cookies.
Using fondant make de cookie decorating process so simple and easy with beautiful results.

To make these cookies you will need:

.Small rolling pin
.Corn Starch
.Mat ( to roll the fondant)
.Piping gel (corn syrup works well also)
.Small brush
.Fondant, color of your choice ( I used Satin Ice Fondant)
.Pretty ribbon
.Pearl Wilton color mist
.Alphabet letters rubber stamps ( I got mine at Michael's for $1 and I will use then only for cookies)

1-Roll the fondant out on the corn starch coated rolling mat.
2-Cut the heart shapes using the same cutters that you used to cut the cookies out.

4-Attach fondant cut outs to the cookie

5-Very gently stamp your cookies. I was very original as you can see... I only stamped the words: I miss you, XOXO and Te quiero mucho ( I love you very much) but you can do more, whatever your heart tells you.

Then, it is up to you if you want to leave the cookies like that or add a little extra.

On my cookies, I spray painted a lite coat of Wilton Pearl Color Mist just to give them a little shine.

What would you stamp on your cookies?
