Pastel Tiara-Baby Shower Cake

It may not look, but this cake was very challenging to make. Under this humid weather the fondant was driving me crazy, but some how after many, many hours of work I was able to put it together.

I made the cake for a Baby Shower, obviously, they are having a little girl. The bows were made with gumpaste, since it has been really humid I made them like a week in advance because I wanted to make sure they were dry before attaching to the cake.
The tiara is also made using gumpaste, I used Wilton because that what I had at home. The little flowers and the ruffles were made with fondant.

The fondant may have given you trouble Kathia but you certainly showed it who was the baking boss. This case is simply gorgeous!! ~ Paula
