Kentucky Bourbon Cake-Last Cake for The Cake Slice Bakers

Well, the time is here and we are finally baking the last cake from the book Vintage Cakes.
Our Secret Baking Group, The Cake Slice Bakers are excited to be starting a new book next month and I can't wait to try the new cake recipes.

For the last cake, we were able to select whatever cake we wanted.
I went for a bundt cake, the Kentucky Bourbon Cake, page 45.
This is a dense buttermilk cake drenched in a boozy bourbon glaze made with butter, sugar and bourbon of course.
It was delicious! which I could share the recipe with you :(

Absolutely gorgeous! It seems like this was THE cake to make since so any people made it and raved about it. Now I really need my parents to buy me some booze haha.
