Manhattan Cheesecake for The Cake Slice Bakers

Let's indulge ourselves!!
Let's forget that Summer is around the corner and a bathing suit is nowhere near in our future.

I am finally back to baking with my baking group The Cake Slice Bakers, we are doing something a little different this time which I am totally loving. Instead of everyone voting and baking all the same cakes, we are having a few more choices and each member can can bake the cake that they feel will like the most. I really like this approach, I think it encourage us to try different cakes according to what we feel eating and also encourage us to visit the other member's pages to see what they made.

Any way, this month I choose The Manhattan Cheesecake

I have a love hate relationship with cheesecake, the love part involves eating the entire thing in a few days generally by myself.
The hate part is feeling guilty about it.

Any way, this cheesecake was very dense with a creamy texture, a little to heavy for my liking, but that didn't stop me from eating a slice.

Your cheesecake is perfect!!! Mine had cracks! But find mine is light cos I used greek yogurt instead of cream!

Your cheesecake looks brilliant, I'm sorry to hear you didn't like that much but I am glad that you managed to enjoy a slice. Our rewards for baking such things are tasting them after all :)

How on earth did you keep it from sinking????? It baked up beautifully! It didn't crack either! I'm so jealous!

This is beautiful. I agree the cake is a bit too rich, but it is nevertheless a a beautiful cake and yours is simply perfect.

Your cheesecake looks so good. I'm so impressed with the clean slice you were able to cut. Mine was pretty soft, and I found it a little hard to cut but it was yummy.
