Snow..Family Time and Meeting a Great Friend

Sorry..I have been away. The truth is that I have been cold and over eating. We were hit with a winter storm here in NJ. We actually stayed home for a couple of days, it was nasty outside and very unsafe to drive. I pretty much enjoyed my days with images like this one...daddy,Lucas and Cami sleeping!
I wanted Cami to experience the snow and we had the change to go and play outside. Cami loved it, she didn't want to go back inside.

I loved the trees.

And...
My great friend Laura, who has an amazing blog and is a great photographer and cook was so fortunate to be one of 15 bloggers from all over US to take part in Electrolux & Kelly Ripa' s CAKE FOR A CAUSE" EVENT. All the bloggers were so lucky to share time and cake decorating skills with Buddy of TLC's Cake Boss. All of this for a great cause, get money for the OVARIAN CANCER RESEARCH FUND.
And I was so lucky too because I got to meet with Laura in the city, and we had the most wonderful time together. We had the change to go sight seeing, let me tell you we walked a lot!!

I made a reservation at Victor's cafe, everything in the menu looked so good, it was hard to decide what to get, then a magical idea... Laura sugested a food tasting!! and here are some pics of the yummy food.

Appetizers

Dinner

Dessert ( yes I ate everything)

Laura, it was great meeting you, you are such a wonderful and sweet person!
NOW ,, please this is your way to help :
-Please go to Kelly Confidential and vote for your favorite cake, it will be nice if you vote for THEME FALL FOR ME!
-You can vote once a day and for every vote Electrolux is donating $1 to the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation, please ask your friends and family too, this is a wonderful way to help for a great cause.
Now I will enjoy a cup of tea from Moscow, Idaho honey...uuummm

ha ha those slippers made me laugh. Wow so much snow. I rarely see it only when I go overseas.

That's so great that you and Laura were able to hook up. I actually wondered if you guys would see each other when I heard she was in NYC (twitter).

Lovely snow photos!
