Turntable Cake for a DJ

Photobucket

This is as good as I can get a cake to look like a turntable.
Very challenging I have to say. I looked a lot of turntables pictures on line and they seem great but with tons of details that I had to figure out how to make using fondant or gumpaste.

Special thanks to Melody from My Sweet and Saucy Shop who allowed me to use her turntable cake to make mine.

This cake is SO detailed and realistic. You even included the little grooves on the knobs! It is magnificent and certainly too pretty to cut or eat!!
